I am seeking a research oriented position at an outstanding biotechnology company. I am currently completing my Ph.D. at Loyola University Chicago in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. I expect to complete my degree early in 2009. My research has focused on the molecular biology of spore formation in Bacillus anthracis, the causative agent of anthrax. The goal of my research has been to analyze the genetics of spore assembly in B. anthracis and to determine the structures and properties of the spores that are important for causing disease.
